Humble tasks in one minute

Capture a task in seconds, keep its context together, prioritise your work, see your progress and bring your team in.

What the film shows
  1. Emails, chats, docs and apps pile up: Google Docs, Sheets and Excel files, then Google Drive, Notion, HubSpot, Linear, Slack, Airtable and GitHub. Everything a task needs is somewhere else.
  2. The Humble tasks character collects it all. Humble tasks: always know what to do next.
  3. Capture it in seconds. Click + Task and type "Call the dentist". A note points out Sam's task, which has an orange edge. Then, on the go, open Humble on your phone and add "Book the venue". At work, send Humble a message in Slack: "Ask Sam for the Q4 numbers". It is added to your timeline. Get it out of your head before you forget.
  4. Keep the context together. In Gmail, the Humble sidebar saves "Reply to Priya about pricing" with a link to the email. In an AI chat and in Google Docs, click a task, then Add this page, and the page is linked to it. The Humble icon in the browser turns green each time. Then the task opens out: an email, an AI chat, a note, a contact and another task are linked to it, and its "Related to" list shows all five. Everything the task needs, in one place.
  5. Prioritise your work. Drag tasks into Now, Next and Later. Know what to do first.
  6. Finish tasks, see your progress. Tick "Finish the board deck". On My Progress, the tasks due today sit in the All day row; the finished task gets a tick and appears at 16:20. See what you did today.
  7. Bring your team in. First, plan together: a shared Kanban board for the Q4 launch, shared with Sam and Maya, where Sam finishes a task. Then the team timeline: a closed Linear ticket, a merged pull request, a meeting and Sam's finished task appear one by one. Nobody writes an update. Plan together. See progress without chasing.
  8. A recap: capture in seconds, keep the context together, know what to do first, see your progress, work as a team. Always know what to do next.
