How do I make Humble open on every new tab?

See your tasks, notes and calendar each time you open a new tab.

Works in: the Humble browser extension in Chrome, Arc, Brave, Ecosia and most other Chromium browsers

Short answer

In My profile, under Chrome extension, switch on Open Humble on new tabs (Recommended). The first time you open a new tab, your browser asks whether to keep the change. Choose Keep it.

Turn on Humble for new tabs

  1. In Humble, select My profile.

  2. Under Chrome extension, switch on Open Humble on new tabs (Recommended).

  3. Open a new tab.

  4. Your browser asks if you meant to change the page. Choose Keep it.

  5. When you finish, you’ll see this.

Every new tab now opens with your Humble Home. If you choose Change it back, new tabs open as normal again.

Questions

Does it work in every browser?

It works in Chrome, Arc, Ecosia and most other Chromium browsers. It does not work in Edge, Safari or Firefox.

Does the search bar still work?

Yes. Your address bar works as normal.

I chose Change it back by mistake. What now?

Switch Open Humble on new tabs off and on again in My profile, then open a new tab and choose Keep it.

Do I need the browser extension?

Yes. New tabs come from the Humble browser extension, so install it first.
