A good idea comes up mid-thread, then ten more messages push it out of sight. Someone asks you for something and you mean to note it down. You save a file to find later and then can't remember which channel it was in. Holding all of that in your head is tiring, and things slip.
Send it to Humble, find it in your timeline
- Add Humble to Slack. Choose your workspace and click Allow. It takes about a minute.
- Message Humble. Send a thought, a to-do, a screenshot or a file in your direct message with Humble, then carry on with your conversation.
- Find it in your timeline. Everything you send shows up in your Humble Progress timeline, on the day you sent it.

Common questions
Yes. Humble links Slack to your Humble account by email, so sign in to Humble with the same email you use for Slack. If you don't have an account yet, start here.
Not always. Some workspaces let anyone add apps. Others need an admin to approve new apps first, and Slack lets you send them a request. Once they approve it, you can add Humble.
Free Slack workspaces can only have 10 apps. Ask a workspace admin to remove an app you no longer use, or to upgrade the workspace, then add Humble again. If you're in more than one workspace, you can also pick a different one from the menu in the top-right corner.
Yes. That note is expected. Humble is going through Slack's app approval process, and until that's finished Slack may show a warning. Humble is safe to install.
Only the channels Humble has been added to, and the messages you send it directly. It can't read other channels or your direct messages with other people. That's why Slack's Allow page mentions channels and conversations.
No. Your messages to Humble are a direct message between you and Humble, like any other direct message in Slack. They don't appear in any channel.
