You have a good idea in a thread. Then ten more messages hide it. Someone asks you for something and you mean to write it down. You save a file for later. Then you forget which channel it was in. It is tiring to hold all of that in your head, and things get missed.
Send it to Humble, find it in your timeline
- Add Humble to Slack. Choose your workspace and click Allow. It takes about a minute.
- Message Humble. Send Humble a thought, a to-do, a screenshot or a file. Use a direct message. Then return to your conversation.
- Find it in your timeline. Each thing you send appears in your Humble Progress timeline, on the day you sent it.

Someone asks you for something in a thread? Send it to Humble. Then you do not have to hold it in your head.

Send a screenshot of a LinkedIn profile after an event. Or send a photo of the whiteboard. Add a line on why it matters.
Files and PDFs
Keep a contract or a brief in your timeline, on the day it arrived. Then you do not have to search Slack for it.
Voice notes
When typing feels like too much, speak instead. Send the voice note to Humble.

Common questions
Yes. Humble uses your email to link Slack to your Humble account. So sign in to Humble with the email you use for Slack. No account yet? Start here.
Not always. Some workspaces let anyone add apps. Others need an admin to approve new apps first, and Slack lets you send them a request. Once they approve it, you can add Humble.
Free Slack workspaces can only have 10 apps. Ask a workspace admin to remove an app you do not use. Or ask them to upgrade the workspace. Then add Humble again. Are you in more than one workspace? Then you can also pick a different one. Use the menu in the top-right corner.
Yes. That note is expected. Slack is still checking Humble for approval. Until that is done, Slack may show a warning. Humble is safe to install.
Only the channels it is added to, and the messages you send it directly. It cannot read other channels. It cannot read your direct messages with other people. This is why Slack's Allow page mentions channels and conversations.
No. Your messages to Humble are a direct message between you and Humble. It is like any other direct message in Slack. Your messages do not appear in any channel.
