Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9th July 2026

We do not sell your personal information.
We only access your files if needed to provide a feature, and we always ask your permission.
We collect limited usage information to improve our services.
You control your data — you can update or delete it at any time.

On this page, we explain how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Our commitment to you

Humble AI Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 13938493 with a registered office at Cambridge House, Camboro Business Park, Girton, Cambridge, CB3 0QH ("we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information.

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models.
  • We will be transparent about how your data is used.
  • We only access your files (such as Google Sheets, Docs, Slides and Drive) and the content you add to Humble when necessary to deliver services, and only with your permission.
  • We only share data with trusted third parties when required, with your explicit consent.

Google Sheets™, Docs™, Slides™, Drive™ permissions

  • Our apps are approved by Google Workspace™ after a strict security review.
  • Permissions requested are only those needed for the app to function.
  • We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
  • It is safe to grant the permissions we request.

How we collect information

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you give us — details you provide when registering, subscribing, or contacting us (e.g., name, email, phone number).
  • Information we collect automatically — technical data like IP address, browser type, visit time, page views, etc.
  • Information from integrations you connect — when you use features like third-party data enrichment (for example, Apollo), we process the data those integrations return so you can use it in Humble. We act on your instructions and do not use these sources to enrich or profile you.

How we use your information

We use collected data to:

  • Help you organise your notes, tasks, events and contacts.
  • Help you capture, find and make sense of what matters to you.
  • Improve service security, reliability, and functionality.

GDPR compliance

Under GDPR:

  • You are the "Controller" of your data.
  • We are your "Processor" when handling your imported data.
  • We are also a "Controller" for account information (e.g., username, password).

Our lawful bases for processing personal data include consent (e.g., when you opt in to communications), performance of a contract (e.g., delivering requested services or fulfilling subscriptions), and legitimate interests (e.g., improving service functionality, maintaining security, and enhancing user experience).

Data retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services or as required by applicable law. If you delete your account, your data is kept for 90 days — enough time to change your mind — and then permanently deleted. If you wish to delete your data sooner, you can request this by contacting us at hello@thehumbleai.com.

Where your data is stored

Your personal data is stored and processed within the European Union, on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure located in the EU. We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU, or route it through servers in the United States or elsewhere. Because our infrastructure is based in the EU, GDPR applies as a legal requirement.

Your rights

You can:

  • Request access to your information (max twice per year, free of charge).
  • Update or correct your information.
  • Request account deletion (please contact us).

You have the right to request access to, transfer of, or deletion of your personal data and any data stored or processed by us. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@thehumbleai.com. Upon receiving your request, we will process it in accordance with applicable laws and our internal policies. Please note that some data may need to be retained where required for legal or operational reasons.

CCPA (California Privacy Rights)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
  • The right to request the deletion of your personal information.
  • The right to opt-out of any sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information).

To exercise your rights, please contact us at hello@thehumbleai.com.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Data protection

We take strong measures to protect your information:

  • Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Hosted on Google Cloud Platform, in the EU, with industry-leading security.
  • Access is limited to the people who need it, and reviewed regularly.
  • Despite safeguards, no method is 100% secure — please stay cautious.

Cookies

  • We use cookies to improve your experience.
  • You can allow or deny cookies via your browser settings.
  • We use Google Analytics to track site usage (but not store personal info).

External links and social media

External websites and social platforms have their own policies. We advise caution before clicking external links.

Warranties and disclaimers

  • Our service is provided "as is," without warranty.
  • We disclaim responsibility for interactions between users or damages resulting from service use.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to $1 USD or the amount you paid, whichever is greater.
