How do I add a task?

Notes
How do I write a note?
Select New note on the My Notes card, type, and save. Or press ⌘K and choose Add new note.How do I find an old note?

Contacts
How do I add a contact?
On the Contacts page, select + Contact, type a name and email, then Save. Or press ⌘K and choose Add new contact.Why are there contacts I didn't add?
Humble adds people from your calendar meetings, and people you share or assign things to by email.Can I share a contact?
No. Contacts are private. People can see a contact only when it is linked to a task or note shared with them.
Sharing and privacy
Is linking someone the same as sharing with them?
No. Linking a person to a note or task is private. Sharing is a separate step.What can Owners, Admins, Contributors and Viewers do?
What each sharing role in Humble can see, edit, share and delete.How do I share with everyone at my company?
Type your work email domain, such as @tidewell.com, to share with everyone who has that email.How do I stop sharing something?
On a task, open Share, select the person’s role and choose Remove access. On a note, set their Permission to Remove.Why does it say "doesn't exist or you no longer have access"?
The task, note or contact was deleted, your access was removed, or you are signed in with a different email.What does "read-only" mean?
Read-only means you can see a task or note but not change it. You are a Viewer on it.Who can see my task?

Calendar
How do I connect my calendar?
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar so your meetings appear in Humble.Why isn't a meeting showing in Humble?
Humble leaves out cancelled and declined events, focus time and out of office. Here is what else to check.How do I connect Outlook Calendar?
In My profile, select Connect Outlook Calendar, sign in with Microsoft and select Accept. Humble only reads your calendar.I use Apple Calendar. Can I connect it?
Not directly. Humble connects to Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. Put your events in one of those and connect it.My calendar says "connection broken". What do I do?
Humble can no longer reach that calendar. Select Reconnect and sign in with the same account.Can Humble change my calendar?
No. Humble only asks for permission to read your calendar. It can’t create, change or delete events.
Progress timeline
What is the Progress timeline?
The Progress timeline shows what you did each day: meetings, tasks, notes and work from Linear, GitHub and Slack.What happens if I remove an integration?
Removing an integration deletes its entries from your timeline. Deleting a calendar connection also deletes that calendar’s history.
Browser extension
How do I install the Humble browser extension?
Add the Humble extension from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it to your toolbar.Why is the Humble icon green?

Each LinkedIn person or company profile counts as its own place, so notes about someone show on every page of their profile.How do I link an email or Google Doc to a task?
Open the email or doc in your browser, open the Humble sidebar, select Tasks and link the task to the page.What permissions does the extension need, and why?
Humble needs to know which page you are on to show your notes and tasks for it, and to keep you signed in.
Slack
How do I add Humble to Slack?
Open the Humble install link, select Allow in Slack, then send Humble a message. Messages go to your Progress timeline.Why aren't my Slack messages showing?
Check your Slack email is exactly the same as your Humble email. Messages also need to be sent to Humble directly.
Linear and GitHub
How do I connect Linear, and what appears?
In Manage Integrations, select + Add, then Linear, then Connect. Issues, projects and milestones appear on your Progress timeline.How do I connect GitHub?
In Manage Integrations, select + Add, then GitHub, then Connect, and choose the repositories. Add your GitHub username in My profile.
Phone
How do I add Humble to my phone?
Add Humble to your iPhone or Android home screen from the browser. There is no app store app.What does "Offline" mean?
Offline means your phone has lost its connection. Humble can’t save until it comes back.How do I get the newest version?
Select Update available at the top of the menu, or Update on your phone. Humble reloads with the newest version.
Account and billing
How do I see or change my plan?
See your Humble plan in My profile, and change it, your card or receipts in Manage subscription.How do I cancel my plan?
Cancel in Manage subscription. Humble stays on until the end of the month or year you paid for.How do I change my name?
In My profile, under Profile, select Edit next to your name, type it and select Save.Can my work pay for Humble?
Often, yes: through a wellbeing or learning budget, as a reasonable adjustment, or in the UK through Access to Work.How do I refer a friend?
Select Refer a friend in the menu, type their email and select Send invite. Humble emails them an invite.What are Beta features and Older features?
Two switches in My profile. Beta features turns on things we are testing. Older features brings back parts of Humble from before.How do I sign out?
