Why are there contacts I didn't add?

They come from your calendar, or from sharing.

Works in: the web app at my.humbleai.com

Short answer

When you connect a calendar, Humble adds the people invited to your meetings as contacts. It also adds anyone you share a task or note with, or assign a task to, by typing their email.

Where they come from

  • Your calendar: everyone invited to a meeting, unless they declined. Humble skips you, cancelled meetings, meetings you declined, and focus time or out-of-office blocks.
  • Sharing: when you type a new email to share a task or note.
  • Assigning: when you type a new email to assign a task, with Add contact ticked. It is ticked to start with.

A contact from your calendar says Auto-added from and your calendar email.

How to tell

A contact Humble added from your calendar.

Questions

Can I stop it?

Not yet. Calendar contacts are part of how Humble links meetings to people.

If I delete one, will it come back?

It can, if that person is invited to a new or changed meeting.

Can other people see these contacts?

No. They are only yours.
