What does "read-only" mean?

This task is read-only or This note is read-only means you can see it, but not change, share or delete it. You are a Viewer on it. Ask the owner or an Admin to make you a Contributor.

A task shared with you as a Viewer.

What a Viewer can do

  • Can: open and read it, and copy its link.
  • Can’t: edit, share or delete it.

If a task is assigned to you, you can still mark it done.

How do I get edit access?

Ask the owner or an Admin to change your role to Contributor.

Why is Delete greyed out even though I can edit?

Only the owner can delete a task or note.
