Short answer
No. Linking a contact to a note or task is private. It shares nothing with them. To let someone see a task or note, you share it with them, or assign the task to them.
Linking and sharing side by side
| Linking | Sharing | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Connects a person, page, note or task to your item | Lets someone else see the item |
| Who can see it | Only you | You and the people you share with |
| Where you do it | Related items | Share this task or Share this note |
Linked things show as Related to on the item, so you can find them again.
