How do I add more detail to a task?

Short answer

Open the task and select Add a description under the title. Type what you need. On a task you already have, it saves as you type. When you add a new task, select Show the rest of the task to see the description.

Good to know

  • Descriptions are plain text. Line breaks are kept.
  • Search on the Tasks page looks in descriptions too.
  • Only one person can edit a field at a time. Why.

Can I use bold or bullet points?

Not yet. Descriptions are plain text.

Can I add a link?

Yes. Use Related, then Add link.
