Open the Humble install link and select Allow in Slack. Then open Humble under Apps in Slack and send it a message. Each message you send goes to your Progress timeline.
Add Humble to Slack
Open the install link: my.humbleai.com/chat/slack/…/install.
Slack asks for permission. Check it is the right workspace, then select Allow.
Select Open Slack.
In Slack, open Humble under Apps and send it a message.
When you finish, you’ll see this.
Humble saves every message you send it to your Progress timeline, under Slack DMs with @Humble.
What you can send
Text, links, screenshots, photos, files and voice notes. Humble keeps the files with the message.
Humble doesn’t reply. Check your Progress timeline to see the message.
Questions
Can Humble read my channels?
Humble only saves messages you send it directly. It doesn’t save channel messages to your timeline.
My workspace needs admin approval.
Some workspaces ask an admin to approve new apps. Slack sends them the request.
Which email does it use?
The email on your Slack profile. It must be exactly the same as the email you use for Humble, or your messages won’t reach your Humble account.
