How do I choose where new tasks go?

Select the arrow next to + New. Under New task goes in, pick The Pile, Now, Next or Later. Humble remembers your choice.

Choose where new tasks go

On the My Tasks card, select the arrow next to + New. It shows where new tasks go now.
Under New task goes in, pick The Pile, Now, Next or Later.
Select + New. The new task starts in the lane you picked.
When you finish, you’ll see this.

Humble remembers your choice everywhere you add tasks, including the browser extension.

Where do new tasks go if I never choose?

Into The Pile, ready to sort.

Can I change it for just one task?

Yes. When you add the task, change its pill. Your usual choice stays the same.

Does it work on my phone and in the extension?

Yes. The same choice is used everywhere.
