How do I move a task between Now, Next and Later?

Change what comes first in two clicks.

Short answer

Open the task, select its Now, Next or Later pill, and choose another lane. On the Tasks page you can also drag the card.

Move a task

  1. Open the task and select its Now, Next or Later pill.

  2. Choose where it goes.

  3. When you finish, you’ll see this.

On the Tasks page you can also drag a card to another lane. With a keyboard, press Space to pick up a card, then ← or → to move it.

Questions

Why can't I move a task?

Only people who can edit a task can move it. If it was shared with you as a Viewer, ask the owner.

Can I move tasks with the keyboard?

Yes. On the Tasks page, press Space to pick up a card and ← or → to move it. Press Space again to drop it.
