How do I connect Linear, and what appears?

Your Linear work, on your Progress timeline.

Short answer

On the Progress timeline, select Manage Integrations, then + Add and Linear. Select Connect and approve Humble in Linear. Issues created and completed, new projects, finished cycles and milestones then appear on your timeline.

Connect Linear

  1. Select Progress in the menu, then Manage Integrations.

  2. Select + Add.

  3. Choose Linear.

  4. Select Connect.

  5. Linear opens. Approve Humble.

  6. When you finish, you’ll see this.

You come back to your Progress timeline while Humble brings in your Linear history.

What appears

  • Issues created and completed, with their ID, priority and team.
  • Projects created.
  • Cycles completed.
  • Milestones completed.

Linear items stay on your timeline. They don’t go into My Tasks. To link a Linear issue to a task, open it in your browser and use the Humble sidebar.

Everything in your Linear workspace. Use Filters and pick Me to see only yours.

What does Humble ask Linear for?

Read, write and admin access. Admin lets Humble get live updates from your workspace.

How far back does it go?

3 years. Use Import history for more.
