Use case
Get your weekly update written for you
Every Friday, your AI app checks what you finished against your week plan and writes the update: what got done, what is next and what is stuck. Each line links to its task, and your Timeline shows the full record.

The problem: Every Friday, I piece the week back together to write an update.
The problem
What gets in the way
- Friday afternoon, goneWriting the update takes an hour you do not have.
- You forget what you didMonday feels like a month ago. Good work goes unmentioned.
- No proof behind itSomeone asks for detail, and you have to go and find it.
How it works
Set it up once. It runs every Friday.
-
Step 1: Schedule the Friday prompt
Paste the prompt below into a scheduled task, and have it run every Friday at 15:30.
-
Step 2: Read the draft update
A Weekly update note is waiting in Humble, written in plain words for Slack or an email. Check it, then send it.
-
Step 3: Each line links to its task
Open a finished task. The update is linked to it, with the task’s notes, emails and people.
-
Step 4: See the full record on your Timeline
Every task you finished, note you wrote and meeting you had is on your Timeline, on the day it happened. The update sits there too.
What you get
- A draft to check, not a page to fill.
- Proof one click away. Every line links to the task it is about.
- The raw record on your Timeline, in the order it happened.
- You send it. Your AI app writes the update. It never sends anything.
Set it up
Set up your Friday update in about ten minutes
What you need
- A Humble account, connected to your AI app. See how to connect it
- A Monday plan, so it knows what the week was meant to be
- A paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise), or a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise), to run it on a schedule
Copy the prompt
Open this week's "Week plan" note in Humble. Check which of its tasks are now complete. Then write a short update for each project: what got done, what is next, what is stuck, and what I need from other people. Save it as a Humble note called "Weekly update · [today's date]". Link the note to each task that is now complete, and each of those tasks back to the note. Write it in plain words, so I can paste it into Slack or an email.
