Use case
Catch what is slipping before it is late
Every weekday afternoon, your AI app checks your Humble tasks for anything late or due in the next two days. It suggests what to do with each one. You choose, and it changes only what you say.

The problem: A deadline passes quietly. By the time I notice, it is a problem.
The problem
What gets in the way
- Deadlines pass quietlyNothing tells you a task is late until someone asks.
- Too late to fixBy the time you notice, there is no time left to do it well.
- Old tasks pile upTasks you no longer mean to do sit on the list and hide the ones that matter.
How it works
A two-minute check, every weekday
-
Step 1: Schedule the daily check
Paste the prompt below into a scheduled task, and have it run every weekday at 16:30.
-
Step 2: See what is slipping
The list goes at the end of this week’s Week plan note, with a suggestion for each task: do it, move it or drop it.
-
Step 3: Choose what happens
Reply in a chat with what you choose. Your AI app makes those changes, and only those.
-
Step 4: Back on track
Your tasks show the new dates and Now, Next or Later, in Humble and in every new tab.
What you get
- Two days’ warning, while there is still time to act.
- A clear choice for each task: do it, move it or drop it.
- A shorter list. Tasks you no longer mean to do move to Later.
- No surprises. The scheduled prompt never changes a task on its own.
Set it up
Set up the daily check in about ten minutes
What you need
- A Humble account, connected to your AI app. See how to connect it
- Tasks with due dates. The Monday plan makes the Week plan note it adds to
- A paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise), or a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise), to run it on a schedule
Copy the prompt
Look at my open Humble tasks. List anything overdue and anything due in the next two days. For each one, suggest one thing: do it now, move the date, or drop it. Add the list to the end of this week's "Week plan" note in Humble. Do not change any tasks.

Your AI app may look a little different. No Week plan note yet? The check still runs. Ask it to save the list as a new note instead.
Questions
Common questions
Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, once you connect them to Humble. It takes a few minutes. Some AI apps need a paid plan of their own to add a custom connector.
Not with this prompt. It writes a note and leaves your tasks as they are. Your AI app changes a task only when you ask it to, in a chat.
Your AI app cannot delete tasks. Say what you want instead: move it to Later, mark it done, or delete it yourself in Humble.
It checks your tasks and the ones shared with you. It cannot change a task you are not allowed to edit.
No. Scheduled tasks in Claude and ChatGPT run online, even when your computer is asleep.
No. Connecting your AI apps is part of every Humble plan.
